DATA-VERSE Chiayi

"Data-Verse Chiayi" is a mirrored virtual city built using a game engine. It blends the natural and cultural landscapes of the past and present into a unique ecosystem. This digital representation of Chiayi features familiar scenes, such as trains running through the city, presented through a first-person perspective that showcases iconic Chiayi landmarks and the masterpieces of renowned local painters.

Buildings within the virtual city evolve dynamically based on real-time data computation, and storefront signs serve as "shared sensory objects," bridging the past and present. The exhibition invites audiences to engage from diverse perspectives and interact in real-time, creating a harmonious world that interweaves you, me, Chiayi, and data.
