Recent rapid developments in Artificial Intelligence (AI) can largely be attributed to the explosive growth of the Internet since 1993 and advancements in the semiconductor industries. Much like the Internet has acted as a nurturing home for AI, the semiconductor industries in Taiwan and East Asia have been crucial, serving as fundamental building blocks in the AI 'organism.' Hence, we reimagine AI as an elder organism in this digital landscape.

Building on this deep connection between AI and the internet’s infrastruc ture, this project will employ AI dialogue records in an innovative approach akin to capturing oral histories. We will delve into the complex history and philosophies of the internet, with a focus on both Taiwan and the global scene, to explore what it means to be native to this rapidly evolving digi tal realm.
